After studying photography at the School of Visual Arts and FIT, I started working as a photo editor for magazines, and kept shooting on the side. I worked for several beautiful publications such as Saveur, Garden Design and Real Simple, and during that time I had the pleasure of working with many talented photographers and art directors. My heart however, was not in the corporate world, and I longed to spend more time taking pictures.
On a whim I called John Dolan whose pictures I loved, and asked if he needed an assistant. Luckily he did, and that was the beginning of my true photography education. While working for John I was able to study his images which are filled with beautiful light, brilliant composition, and in my opinion a sprinkle of magic. I was in awe of his work, and it inspired me to eventually go off on my own to create some magic for myself.
I've been shooting weddings for the past nine years, and live in New York with my husband Mark and our two awesome children Elizabeth and Oliver.
